Flying is fun, but sometimes the cost associated with getting a pilot’s certificate or staying current is a bit too much to handle. As Premier Aviation, we understand that learning to fly can be more of a journey than a goal, and we’re pleased to take our time and have some fun along the way.
Q. Can I bring a friend along?
A. Generally, the answer is yes. There are certain maneuvers that we can’t do with a third person in the aircraft, but your instructor is well versed in the limits of the aircraft you’ll be flying, and will be happy to explain them to you.
Q. Do I still need to meet the TSA requirements?
A. Yes. If the rating or certificate you’re working on requires (or Premier Aviation policy) requires that you submit citizenship paperwork, you’ll need to have it on file.
Q. I’m a licensed pilot who wants to fly somewhere. The weather is a bit below my personal minimums. Can I take a CFI with me?
A. Absolutely. And frequently, very little notice is required. After all, if it’s below your personal minimums, it’s probable that the primary students have all cancelled as well.
